Our Profile
The University of Augsburg was founded in 1974 and is one of the new, modern universities in Bavaria with approximately 15.000 students. According to the motto of the University "Scientia et Conscientia" the curricula are designed to meet the high standards of academic excellence on the one hand, combinded with the practical needs of society and the economy on the other. The Centre for Professional Development and Knowledge Transfer (ZWW) has an excellent reputation throughout Germany and more than 30 years of experience in Continuing Education. In cooperation with the Faculty of Business Administration and Economics the ZWW offers one part-time MBA-program for professionals, the MBA Corporate Management.
In 2004 the "Stifterverband fuer die Deutsche Wissenschaft", the leading association that provides funding for German education and research, named the ZWW in Augsburg as the best institute attached to a university in the German market of Continuing Education.
